ACCOUNTABILITY CHANNELS

Accountability is a crucial part of creating consent-based spaces. When communication does not occur, consent cannot be maintained. While a person’s goal may be to minimize harm and promote healing, both in this field of work and simply as humans we are not perfect and know that we will make mistakes.

If you ever feel you have been harmed by J. C. Meyer-Crosby or any student or assistant of theirs, here are a few of your options:

Let them know in person or via the contact form. It’s definitely vulnerable to tell someone when they have hurt you, but often it’s important to bring awareness to the hurt, keep it from happening again, and begin steps towards repair. If you feel you have the emotional space for it, we recommend this path.

Contact one of Jace’s accountability partners. If you would prefer to go through a mediator with your concern (which is perfectly valid and valued), these are the names and email addresses of professional acquaintances who have volunteered to be accountability partners in Jace’s work.
